“Recovery designed by those in Recovery”

We have walked a mile in those shoes, navigated the recovery systems, & we do Understand!

How it all Began… 😊

Our Story & Beginning

Recovery Well LLC is an addiction treatment facility located in Floyd County Kentucky, founded by Jimmy Arnett and Brandon Lewis. Their shared passion and personal experiences with substance use led to their desire to create a treatment facility and Recovery Space they wished themselves and their loved ones would have had access to during one of three hardest battles of their lives. Their education, history, and decades of experience working with and treating substance use disorders allowed them to take feedback from past clients, listen to client concerns, collect ideas, and ask those in recovery what they would like to see change in recovery systems and implement all that information and create a Addiction Treatment Facility and Recovery Center that is designed for you!

You have probably heard or thought at some point during your journey, “that people cannot understand if they haven’t suffered from Addiction themselves,” & we understand a lot of persons in recovery have felt this way, because substance use addiction is such a complicated disease; but Jimmy & Brandon absolutely understand because they have been there themselves, they have walked in those shoes and have first hand experience of trying to navigate the recovery system. Their main goal was to use their personal experience and experiences of those who had already been through treatment/recovery to create a place that implements and tackles all ideas, concerns, wants, suggestions of those who have been there; basically “Recovery designed by people who’s been through Recovery!” No judgements, no being treating less than at the reception desk, making sure you’re always taken seriously about concerns and not dismissed bc of addiction, removal of barriers, helping their loved ones with understand and advocating for support, and treating substance use disorder with the dignity, respect, and patient centered treatment that every other disease receives.

Most families have a personal story of someone they love that has battled addiction at some point; it’s something no person/family is immune to, but it is something that a lot of families do not understand. Jimmy and Brandon have their own personal stories in their history and family relating to addiction; they truly have been in the shoes of our clients & can relate to them in a honest and priceless way. Yes, they may have seen a person suffer from addiction before, but they don’t understand the battle, the mental aspect, the physical aspect, emotions, and cycles that addiction can create for a person; sometimes when you don’t understand something it can be very hard for a person to give their support to someone else.

Helping your loved ones, friends, family, spouses, & children is something that Jimmy & Brandon wanted to focus on when they were spinning around the idea of opening their own facility. Understanding, patience, and support are extremely important during recovery & can be a barrier to a life free of addiction if the person does not have access.
